Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel

If you're a fan of the Fallout series on PC, this is a major disappointment. If you're a fan of the Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance engine on PS2, you're in luck. If you don't know what the hell I'm talking about, Fallout is a RPG set in a post-nuclear world where bottlecaps are the currency, two headed cattle roam the land and everyone's out to survive or take what's yours. The first 2 Fallout games came out on PC, and were very popular and well loved in some circles, and this PS2 version.. is yet another glorified Gauntlet game where you run around maps collecting or killing stuff, and doing a rudimentary version of upgrading your character. Some amusing conversations and the occasional rude word don't really make this a particularly interesting game.

I have to admit that I've played through it a couple times, but that's mainly because I love post-apocalyptic entertainment in its many guises, and I'm just killing time until the release of Fallout 3 in Fall 2008. However, you'll need yourself a decent PC or a 360 to play that.
